The intricate blade and hilt are made from a solid piece of green
Jade. The curved blade has the low relief carving of a stylized
dragon on either side, the intricate lines indicating its scales. A
row of 7 open holes are found at the top edge, each with a carved
Jade ring (two rings missing). The rings were carved in place since
there are no visible openings to attach them to the holes. The top of
the hilt has a carved stylized catlike creature with incised lines.
